Work was completed on the renovation and extension of Ash Chapel in April 2012.
There has been a chapel on this site since 1843 and the current building has been fully renovated and extended to increase the worship area and to include 3 toilets, including a disabled toilet. A modem new kitchen has been installed in hall behind the chapel. All the meetings held at the Chapel have now transferred back into the main auditorium from the hall where the services were held for the last few years.
The hall is also home to the Glad Tidings Bookshop which is open to everyone on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. You can browse the hundreds of books and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. On the first Saturday of every month a Ploughman’s lunch is available.
The Pastor and congregation of Ash Chapel believe the new improvements will be of benefit to the whole community….
